Competitive Select Program


The Select program offers advanced training for the competitive player. Taught by licensed coaches, training sessions are held weekly from August-April. Select teams travel and compete in leagues and tournaments throughout the state.


SUMMER SESSIONS are now offered to all Select players to keep their skills sharp through the summer, at no additional charge, but pre-registration is required,  with $50 due by May 31.

This $50 fee will be credited toward Select players' Select registration fees (regularly $125 due by July 1),  affording Select players the chance to train all summer at no additional program charge!

Program Cost

For U11-U14 teams:

$125 payment due by July 1,

+ 8 monthly payments of $70 due the 1st of each month, August through March.


For U15 and older teams:

$125 payment due by July 1,

+ 7 monthly payments of $75 due the 1st of each month, August -November

(Break for High School, December-January)

For RETURNING players: (Select U15 and older who were registered in fall 2016):

3 payments of $65 due the 1st of each month, February-April.


Financing options are available for new spring season players.


Select fees provide:

Two complete Adidas uniforms

Two training jerseys

One backpack

Up to 12 competitive league games played primarily in the greater Phoenix area

Up to 4 tournaments played locally and in the greater Phoenix area

9 month training which includes coaching by professionally licensed coaches

Field expenses and equipment

League registration and administrative fees

2016 Season dates

All players interested in competitive soccer are encouraged to attend both of the FREE tryout events:

• 5/7 Tryouts at Mountain Valley Park’s Pavilion field

• 5/14 Tryouts at Mountain Valley Park’s Pavilion field

• Date TBA: Team training begins

• 9/17 Port of Subs Open League season 1 begins


Financial Assistance

Hardship financial assistance is available to families for whom the club deems the registration fees would cause a financial burden. Each hardship application is considered on a case by case basis, based on need and available funds, and reviewed and responded to in a timely manner. All Select players applying for financial assistance must apply for the Max In Motion scholarship through YSC.
